Quality vacuum robots solutions by Navia Robotics: The process of dispatching HolaBot was well thought out as well, with the included Smart Watch that can call the robot over to the table that needs to be cleared out. Bussers can simply head over to the table with empty bussing tubs, call the robot over with the Smart Watch and fill the bussing tubs while the robot makes it way over to the table. Once the robot arrives, calling out “Hola Hola” will have the robot turn around for easy loading of the bussing trays. Simply gesture your hand across the top of the robot and the robot will make its way to the dishwashing station without requiring any contact, keeping the robot touch screen clear of smudging from dirty hands. Multi-table Delivery Mode and Cruise Mode: KettyBot can be used to deliver food to tables. Built-in queuing system allows you to punch in the destination of the food to two different tables for the two different trays. KettyBot can also be set to cruise mode to roam around the premises and catch the attention of passersbys. Built-in LIDAR and visual sensors allow for better obstacle detection, accurate positioning and safer operations. Internal mapping algorithms allow the KettyBot to find the most efficient route to its destination.
Easy tray identification; LIDAR Positioning: New generation laser based mapping system; High Fidelty Speakers: Clear audio with powerful 2 x 30w speakers; Visual Positioning: Accompanies LIDAR mapping, Aerospace grade alloy provides rigidity and strength, 3D vision sensors for robustness. Suspension System: Avoid spills on rough patches or abrupt stops. Laser and visual combination SLAM system based on LIDAR sensor, cameras and UWB location tracker ensures redundancy in accurate robot positioning.
BellaBot comes with four large trays that can each accommodate two typical dinner plates, or one large specialty plate. With a capacity of 22.5lbs per tray, one trip with BellaBot can carry loads that would take 2 to 4 workers to carry over, how’s that for efficiency? All the while, it can deliver them carefully with the advanced built-in wheel suspension that allows it to glide over small bumps and cracks on the floor. BellaBot features the most advanced sensor package on the market today, with several optical infrared cameras, four IR illuminators, a LIDAR sensor and bump sensors to avoid obstacles and ensure it never gets lost unlike the majority of other robots out there. There are even four motion sensors on each of the four trays to determine if the food on a given tray has been emptied…it is intelligent enough to go to the next table when the tray is emptied without any human interaction.
Navia Robotics spends considerable time and money investing in research and development for core positioning and navigation technologies for our robotic systems. We partner with top technology companies around the world to develop accurate positioning systems and sensors and have expertise in both LIDAR and visual imaging systems and utilize our own advanced algorithms for simultaneous localization and mapping. Our latest BellaBot is the first in the service robot industry to utilize both LIDAR and visual SLAM systems for accurate positioning and repeatability, one of the most important aspects of a service robot’s capabilities.
IPX5 Waterproof Cabin: The HolaBot’s cabin area is IPX5 rated to take on various liquids splashing while operating. Simply wipe it off with a damp towel for easy cleaning. Different Operating Scenarios: The HolaBot can be used in various different environments, such as restaurants and hospitals as shown below. Other novel uses include banks, pharmacies, factories, warehouses and order fulfillment centers, auto/truck repair facilities among others.
BellaBot was made with form and function in mind, with flowing curves and sharp edges in all the right places. The ergonomics are designed for easy human interaction, including screen tilt angle, device height and easily accessible trays. BellaBot is equipped with multiple sensors that sense the surrounding in both 2D and 3D, all in a compact modular chassis. It can stop immediately when an obstacle is detected and comes with an advanced suspension system to prevent items on the trays from tipping over. Read more info at https://www.naviarobotics.com/.
Restaurants with larger footprints where it’s quite a ways away from the front entrance to the more distant tables were having a crisis when the restaurant was packed; the host would be taking far too long to take guests to their tables meaning there was nobody to greet new patrons who just walked in the door. Hiring another receptionist or host just for this purpose didn’t make much sense, especially during downtime when the restaurant was less busy, so the owners used the KettyBot to take guests to their tables. What they found was it was an incredibly effective and efficient use of time, the host can always be on standby at the front entrance and take phone calls as necessary for reservations, while no time was wasted to get guests seated.
